Blár Akur

Blár Akur offers monitoring of environmental conditions and fish health in aquaculture. The company also provides technical services to support the operations and development of aquaculture businesses.

At Tanuki, we recently developed a new website for Blár Akur. It is loosely based on the design of the parent company’s website in Norway, https://akerbla.no. The site was developed very quickly, from the first design meeting to the first live release in just three days.

The website is built with React and Next.js (https://nextjs.org). For UI development, we use Tailwind (https://tailwindcss.com). The site is hosted on Vercel (https://vercel.com), like our other websites. Behind the scenes, the site uses a custom Sanity (https://sanity.io) content management system.
